![]() ![]() Here is what happens with an earlier version of V2D when I open it: ![]() I gather you have not installed your EVD3? I believe it will offer an Upgade to Plus, every time you run it. The Plus version includes video enhancements like color adjustments and video stabilizing. No, both versions of EVD3 are Win8 Compatible. (No rants please about my lack of fundamental knowledge, please). Any suggestions or advice? Thank you all. My pure speculation is that 3Plus was issued for compatibility with Windows 8, but I am concerned that some other bugs and fixes might have been made. Telephone calls to Roxio/Corel only resulted in one hour on hold, and a friendly guy who had no idea what the difference might be, whether any upgrade is needed, or how to upgrade. No upgrade from 3 to 3Plus is offered at the Roxio site. Like I said on my laptop its Windows 10 with all the latest updates and works like a charm and but can't get it to work yet on this Gateway with Windows 10 all up to date? I'm puzzled.I purchased Easy VHS to DVD 3 (without the 'Plus') off the shelf, and opened before realizing that the 'Plus' is an updated version, and that my store was dumping an older version of the program. ![]() Do i need to put this in safe mode or make a registry change or what. i have attached the picture and the folder I created under the Admin user is on the left of the screen. It just went to the same orginal message as in the very first post where it says it has stopped working. When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot. Under the Compatibility tab, make sure nothing is checked!ĭon’t do any updates at this time (get it running first) In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio.Ĭreate a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.Ĭopy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD. Unplug your Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.ĭownload and install the Revo Uninstaller. This is extensive, but it what I suggest. I would recommend a through repair at this point: Have you contacted Roxio Support on this? ![]()
